- This single-circuit programmable ignition coil kit is designed to replace the distributor or the original electronic ignition system on many classic Compatible with Harley 53-660 models. It is suitable for large two-cylinder models from 1970 to 1999 (excluding models with double-camshafts) as well as sporty Compatible with Harley models from 1986 to 2003 (excluding "S" series models), and it is also applicable to most evolved and scoop-type engines that use nose cone ignition devices. This kit includes a rotor, a single fire coil, a control module and wiring. It provides all the necessary components for a clean installation. The high-output single fire coil has been meticulously designed to provide stable sparks for each cylinder after proper installation and debugging, ensuring reliable ignition performance for daily riding. When used with a compatible programming kit (sold separately), the module supports adjustable ignition curves, a settable rev limit and other programmable functions, so the ignition settings can be matched to different engine setups. Built-in protection is designed to help guard against over-voltage, over-current and short circuits, and the solid-state design eliminates moving parts found in older systems. This kit is intended for carbureted engines only and is not suitable for fuel-injected models, Twin Cam engines or Sportster “S” models.
